Puppies learn new things very quickly! We believe that this critical developmental period is the best time to build a foundation of good behaviour while at the same time creating a strong bond between you and your puppy.
Our training plan is designed to create good canine citizens and avoid major behavioral problems before they start. We reinforce good, positive behaviors, and prevent negative or undesirable habits, while teaching puppies a communication system that gives you control when you need it. We use food, treats, toys, and praise as rewards, and remove these rewards when undesirable behaviour is present. We do not use physical punishment of any kind.

Nick is a Dog Trainer with five years of experience. Nick trains, walks and learns from the dogs in his care with Pet Me If You Can. A volunteer with the Oakville & Milton Humane Society, Nick’s calm and effective approach helps dogs to trust and learn the good behaviour they need to get adopted into a new loving home. Nick has a diploma in Animal Sciences from ICS (International Career School).
